Blueberries For Growers, Gardeners, Promoters provides an introduction to blueberries and the several species used in production.  It presents climatic limitations, describes varieties and their characteristics, and discusses how each of the species is bred.  Production practices in various regions and countries are described.  Understanding soil management and fertilization is key to growing blueberries, and a chapter is devoted to this topic.  Chapters are also devoted to the many pest problems encountered by blueberry growers.  Of course, no farmer is successful if the crop is not grown profitably and marketed successfully.  Guidance is provided on these topics as well.

This book takes the very latest research and accumulated knowledge about blueberries, and presents it in a way that will be useful mainly to growers and home gardeners, but also academicians.  It is considered by many to be the "Blueberry Bible."  It builds upon the classic Blueberry Culture, the first of all blueberry books, edited by Paul Eck and Norman Childers in 1966.
